Ósk was born out of a simple frustration: why is buying a thoughtful gift so hard? We set out to build Iceland's most beloved gift platform — connecting givers, hosts, and local vendors in one beautifully simple place.
Why we built Ósk
Every year, millions of gifts are bought with uncertainty — will they like it? Do they already have it? Is it meaningful enough? At the same time, Iceland's incredible local artisans and makers struggle to reach the people who would love their work.
Ósk bridges that gap. We created a platform where wishlists eliminate guesswork, local vendors get the spotlight they deserve, and AI helps anyone find the perfect gift — even for the hardest person to buy for.
